There seems to be some kind of trend going on and I'm not sure where it's coming from. STOP tapering the legs of your trousers so fucking tight you can barely get your foot through the foot-hole. These are not skinny jeans and they are not meant to be worn like that.
I understand that you want a slim fit suit and a tapered look but it is important to keep in mind that it is more about the overall silhouette and proportion from top to bottom. Not sucking in only the waist of the jacket and the legs of the trousers so far in that you look like an extreme hour glass on skewer sticks.
If you are a very slender guy, you are just revealing more of how slim your legs actually are and there is no reason to look like a shaved bird wearing a suit. Leave the leg of the trousers alone so it can fill in some structure to your bottom half.
If you are a bigger guy with a pot belly which I see more and more of, do not taper the leg of the trouser so it looks taped to your legs cause it will show how un-proportionate you really are. It is NOT making you look skinnier by tapering the shit out of the jacket and the trousers when every seam looks like it is going to pop and the jacket closure looks like a tic-tac-toe board. Either get rid of the belly or just have more of a full silhouette to appear normal.
So, with that being said, which ever guy you are listed above just keep it looking proportionate, elegant, and clean and you will be appreciated for looking dapper AF.
